QA Analyst

We're looking for a skilled QA Analyst, Mobile Apps, to join our product-focused, guest-centric digital team. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality mobile applications and digital experiences across multiple entertainment brands. Unlike standard QA pipelines, our workflow emphasizes both manual and automated testing, data-driven insights, and continuous integration. 

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and evolve the overall QA strategy for mobile applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage through manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to review requirements, define test plans, and prioritize test activities.
• Analyze testing outcomes to identify trends, common defects, and potential quality risks; provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements in test automation efforts, identifying opportunities for efficiency and reliability.
• Support the integration of QA processes within the CI/CD pipeline, working closely with engineers to ensure early and continuous testing.
• Stay current with mobile testing tools, trends, and best practices, including strategies for intelligent automation and quality metrics.
• Troubleshoot production issues on live applications and communicate results effectively.
• Contribute to QA team processes and standards, making recommendations for improvements when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Solid background in Quality Assurance or Software Testing for web and mobile applications.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional agile teams.
• Proven ability to test large-scale consumer-facing applications.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of web-based software architectures and technologies.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with bug tracking, project/product management, and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Advanced/fluent English proficiency.

Nice To Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• QA or software testing certification(s).
• Experience in analyzing mobile testing efforts and creating detailed test plans and test cases.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting production issues and providing data-driven quality insights.
• Familiarity with intelligent automation strategies and QA metrics.
