AWS Cloud Engineer

FCamara Europe is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role will involve working on exciting projects with a leading retail company in the UK, focusing on cloud infrastructure and AWS services to drive innovation and efficiency.

Responsabilidades:

• Influence the design, architecture, development, and deployment of advanced, scalable, and fault-tolerant AWS-based solutions.

• Guide technology choices, service selection, and architectural patterns across projects.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Drive automation for provisioning, deploying, and scaling AWS resources following DevOps principles.

• Partner with security teams to ensure solutions align with industry standards and best practices.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, design patterns, and operational procedures.

• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and mentoring initiatives to uplift team capability.

Requisitos:

• Proven experience in designing and deploying complex AWS cloud solutions.

• In-depth, hands-on expertise with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and more.

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, including microservices and serverless designs.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal oversight.

• Cloud Platform: Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Key Services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ECS/EKS

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation

• Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash, Shell scripting

• CI/CD & DevOps Tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline, CodeBuild

• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS

• Security & Governance: IAM, VPC security, Encryption, GuardDuty, Security Hub

• Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Datadog (optional)

• Architecture Patterns: Microservices, Event-driven, Serverless

Preferred Certifications (Highly Valued):

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
